Dr. Candela is originally from Chicago. He attended the University of Notre Dame, from where he received a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Latin American studies, graduating with honors. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine and concurrently completed a Masters Degree in Public Health with an emphasis on Nutrition. He completed his urologic residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles. He enjoys a broad practice in all aspects of urologic disease with a focus on female urology and oncology.
Dr. Candela has lived in the Las Vegas area for over ten years with his wife and four children. He has a wide variety of personal interests which include swimming with the Las Vegas Masters Swim Club, playing tennis, and participating in triathlons.
Dr. Candela is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and holds a Masters of Public Health.

Residing in Las Vegas for over a decade with his family, he is an active member of the Las Vegas Masters Swim Club and enjoys tennis and triathlons.
